The Girl Who Dreamt of Never Being AloneThere was a time,
Where I never smiled.
It was time in which I never cared much.
Not for anyone,
Not for anything.
When I was younger,
People thought it was just a phase.
That I'd soon over come my shyness,
And have friends.
But I never changed.
People grew scared,
Thinking I had some type of black magic in me.
They thought I was depressed,
Or that I had secrets I couldn't tell anybody.
They sent me to many strange people,

At the age of nine,

It illuminated your reflection so perfectly,

Like magic,
You seemed to have this sparkle.
You hypnotized me,
My mind only ever thought of you.

You seemed so calm,
Like a tulip.
Admiration struck me,
The way you radiated this aura,
It changed me.
This particular color,
What does it mean to you?
To me,
It's the color of mystery.
Nobility.
It felt like the feel of clairvoyance.
It felt like the halcyon.
You seemed,
To have thought this color had much more,
Of a meaning to you.
Much more of a purpose.
A reason.
You spread this color over,
Glazing it like honey over the walls.
Over everything.
As if you wanted to die with such a hue.
It was glorious,
Like the sunlight.
You see this particular color,

Trash and MasterpieceI was a runner.
An escapee from the town.
To some, I was survivor.
To others, another piece of trash on the street.
Scum.
He was a breather.
A good man who knew what he was doing.
To all, he was a saint and a savior.
To me, a masterpiece.
Beauty.

But I fell in love with him.

But I never stopped.

To some, it may seem impossible.
To others, they thought it was a joke.

We just know what it's like.
We think its funny, in a way,
How the light still shines in the dark.
How the Moon that shines in the darkness of night is,
And always will be,
A reflection of,
The Sun.
And we think to ourselves,
Maybe the Sun was with us the whole time
We haven't learned to love the darkness,
But instead admire the mocking vision of light.
Even so,
We prefer the darkness.
Because how can we love the Sun,
When we've already witnessed the Moon?
